In the film CLOSER, Natalie Portman portrayed Alice, a tough but honest gal with a skill for pole dancing. She earned a nomination for Supporting Actress and presented an Oscar for the first time in a shimmering taupe gown designed by Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. This ode to Grecian style featured a deep-V silhouette and satin-cinched at the bodice and waist. She also turned a sparkling Fred Leighton bracelet into a tiara.
