Sofia Coppola was billed as one of the evening's most elegant women. Nominated for Best Director and the winner in the Best Original Screenplay category for LOST IN TRANSLATION, Coppola leaned towards simplicity with a creation from American designer Marc Jacobs. The silk purple gown was detailed with a crisscross neckline and wrapped waist.
