THE PHILADELPHIA STORY (1940)

The classic screwball romantic comedy featured divorced couple Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant sparring over her upcoming wedding. Both stars are seen here, in center, behind the scenes with director George Cukor and actors Roland Young and Virginia Weidler. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture. James Stewart won an Oscar for his performance, and the film also took home a statuette for Best Original Screenplay.
