76th Academy Awards - 2004

Sandra Bullock (L) chose to have Oscar de la Renta's fanciful silk faille feather-trimmed gown, originally in black, done in white. Bullock's dress was one of the few that made it directly from the New York runways to the Oscar red carpet. Liv Tyler wore a black Givenchy gown straight from the Paris runways. Designed with a square neckline, the gown featured a plunging back.
