ROMEO AND JULIET (1968)

Franco Zeffirelli’s adaptation of the Shakespeare play became a major hit thanks to its innovative casting of real-life teenagers in the leading roles (Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting), both seen in this Polish theatrical poster. The film was nominated for four Academy Awards including Best Picture and took home statuettes for Costume Design and Cinematography.
