For her third Oscar nomination, Bening selected couture from Giorgio Armani's Prive label. The black jersey long-sleeve gown with portrait neckline was a red carpet Prive first. To complement the hourglass silhouette with fishtail design, she wore her own necklace (a special gift from husband Warren Beatty) and a Rickard Shah evening bag.
