81st Annual Academy Awards Governors Ball - February 22, 2009

This year’s Governors Ball offered a creative, visual dialogue between East and West. Eclectic Asian elements, inspired by nature's earth, air, water, wood and fire, are fused with contemporary design to provide a perfect sanctuary to celebrate in comfort and in style. Warm, ambient lighting revealed living landscapes of vibrant floral and architectural symmetry, while tastes and textures that emerge from tray passed champagnes through delectable cuisine promised a satisfying and truly memorable evening of celebration.
