77th Annual Academy Awards Governors Ball - February 27, 2005

This year’s Governors Ball combined the opulence of old Hollywood with the contemporary motif of a modern-day supper club. The room reflected a vibrant palette of colors including sienna, persimmon, copper and brick, complimented with accents of jade. Tiered levels of seating framed by banister panels combined with an innovative ceiling treatment transformed the ballroom’s physical space into a romantic, intimate setting. Golden hues of amber from tabletop lamps added to the atmosphere.
