75th Annual Academy Awards Governors Ball - March 23, 2003

Inspired by the first Awards Dinner (May 16, 1929, in the Blossom Room at the Roosevelt Hotel), the 75th Governors Ball recreated the décor of its predecessor by using a neutral palette of black, white and sepia tones. The white carpet, 6 feet wide blossom chandeliers and oversized black and white celebrity photos that adorned each wall, all served to capture the opulence and grace of that era.
