The Devil (THE EXORCIST, 1973)

There's no greater villain than the Devil himself, especially when channeled through an innocent young girl. The possession and torment of Regan, her mother, and two priests was so disturbing that THE EXORCIST has been called the scariest film of all time. The film was nominated for 10 Oscars, and won for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Sound.
