Barbra Streisand, the award winning actress, producer and singer, will be performing at the Oscars for the first time since the 49th Academy Awards, 36 years ago. Streisand has won two Academy Awards, Best Original Song in 1977 and Best Actress in 1968.
British pop sensation Adele will also be performing her Oscar nominated song "Skyfall", in her first American television performance since last year's Grammys. The event also marks the first time Adele will be performing the song in front of a live audience.
Singer and songwriter Norah Jones will perform the Oscar nominated song “Everybody Needs a Best Friend” from the film TED. Jones, a multiple Grammy-winning artist, will be performing at the Oscars for the first time.
