My meeting with George in search of the perfect Oscar gown could not have been more fun, but I’m still in need of a little inspiration to make my final decision. I haven’t a clue which direction I want to take. Should I go high fashion, classic or va va voom?! I mean, this is the dress I’ll be rocking for HOURS as I interview some the biggest names in entertainment on Hollywood’s biggest night! I’ve got to be looking and feeling good.

In search of that inspiration, George and I go on a little field trip to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise (FIDM). I’ve checked out FIDM’s annual Oscar exhibit for the past couple of years, but each year brings a whole new adventure. The exhibit showcases the year’s five Oscar nominees for best costume design and memorable costumes from 20 other films.

Here’s hoping that George is right, and I get inspired on my own look for the Academy Awards by seeing these extraordinary fashion pieces up close and personal!
