Did You Know – Musically Inclined
In WALK THE LINE, Reese Witherspoon, who plays June Carter, learned how to sing and play an instrument over a period of six months. During filming, she performed concerts in front of thousands of people. At the 78th Academy Awards in 2006, she ended up winning the Best Actress Oscar for her performance.
