SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK - After a court ordered stay in a mental institution, Pat Solitano returns to his parents’ home and attempts to rebuild his life. His plan to reconcile with his ex-wife is complicated, however, when he’s introduced to Tiffany, who is facing some challenges of her own.
You'll root for Pat and his family to find the silver lining in this simultaneously humorous and dramatic film from Oscar nominee David O. Russell. In addition to the acting nominations for Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, and Jacki Weaver, the movie has received nominations for Best Picture, Best Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay (David O. Russell), and Best Director (David O. Russell).
