With only five weeks until The Oscars, show preparations are in high gear! Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have announced the key members of their production team.
Returning to the show is director Hamish Hamilton, who worked on the 82nd Oscars in 2010. Craig and Neil will also be collaborating with production designer Derek McLane and choreographer Rob Ashford again! Derek created the production design for last year’s Oscar ceremony; Rob did the choreography for last year’s show, as well as the 81st Academy Awards in 2009 for which he won an Emmy. Also joining the 2014 Oscar team are writers Kristin Gore, Amy Ozols and Jon Macks, who will work alongside host Ellen DeGeneres’ team of writers.
Music director William Ross, lighting designer Robert Dickinson and costume designers Julie Weiss and Bruce Pask are all returning to the Academy Awards. Supervising producer Michael Seligman and co-producer Lee Lodge will once again be teaming up with Craig and Neil for this year’s Oscar ceremony, while it will be talent producer Taryn Hurd's first time working on The Oscars.
